It's been a quick minute since we have posted a recipe and what better time than during the week of Thanksgiving and all of the food??! This past summer when we hit 1,000 followers on Facebook, we asked for recipe submissions. One of those submissions was Lemon Mint Pork Tenderloin and we are so intrigued that we might have to try this one. If you're looking for a new holiday recipe, this might just be the one!

Over the past couple of weeks, we reached 1,000 likes on our Facebook page! To celebrate, we had a giveaway, and we chose a winner who entered the giveaway by sharing a favorite recipe featuring a combination of crops that we grow at Gumz Farms: onions, potatoes, carrots, and mint.  It's been a quick minute since we last blogged, but there's no time like the present! Technically, St. Patrick's Day is tomorrow, but we wanted to make sure you had time to get the ingredients for the big day! This St. Patty's Day mashed potato recipe has to be amazing because the description mentions "lots of butter and cream." Just like bacon makes everything better, so does butter, right?

Colcannon Potatoes  

With fall in full swing, we found it fitting to find a good and warm loaded baked potato recipe topped off with a homemade cheese sauce! This recipe is from Ree Drummond (aka the Pioneer Woman). And, even though this recipe calls for Russet potatoes, we are certain it will be just as good, if not better with Reds.
